Run Hydra in bash upon a password list;
ncat for the potential port for each protocol, some additional port / protocol could be added of course.

I have been restoring several files under specific user into ownCloud solution; I have found in some forum that we could refresh the files records upon the filesystem.
The table name is : oc_filecache
If you delete manually all the content of this table (something like : Delete * from oc_filecache); Logout and login back; All the content would be refreshed.

Select the correct Zone that you wish to apply:
cp /usr/share/zoneinfo/Europe/London /etc/localtime
Installation in the terminal:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:fixnix/indicator-systemtray-unity
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install indicator-systemtray-unity
Once installed, you can enable it by this command:
gsettings list-recursively net.launchpad.indicator.systemtray
If you wish to remove it, run this command:
sudo apt-get --purge remove indicator-systemtray-unity

On Centos 7.0, you are trying to resize using “resize2fs2 the new logical volume once you have add a new volume to your group;
[root@centos7 ~]# resize2fs "yourvolumegroup"
resize2fs 1.42.9 (28-Dec-2013)
resize2fs: Bad magic number in super-block while trying to open "yourvolumegroup"
Couldn't find valid filesystem superblock.
On Centos 7.x, its using now XFS (look into the /etc/fstab), default should be xfs.
Instead of using resize2fs, use this command:

As for some Mid and small company, Synology that integrate DSM allows to install/implement a mail server and others… 🙂
The Mail server is based on Postfix, one of the most common Mail server as an alternative to sendmail.(http://www.postfix.org/).
As spam is everywhere, you might consider to implement some solution as Brightmail instead of the spam assassin which is indeed also part of the available package from DSM.
To do so, add these lines to your main.cf from Postfix:
smtpd_milters = inet:IP:41001
milter_protocol = 2
milter_default_action = accept
IP: is the IP of the machine that have Brightmail software.

You might also wish to implement the change into the template file, as if some postfix update are applied this settings might be overwritten.
